A Victorian silver bon bon dish, hallmarked England 1859 by C.F, boat shaped with half ribbed decoration and lion mask handles, inscribed to base 'W.E. to W.C.E. and E.E. 1859..1884.', 20.5 x 11cm, 7.8 ozt / 244 grams. Condition Report: In good condition with light scratching, and very minor tarnishing, clear engraving and hallmarks.
Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. An intricately carved cedar wood sarcophagus mask coated in gesso and paint. The mask features idealised facial characteristics, including a large nose, pursed lips, and painted wide almond-shaped eyes. It is adorned with a striped headdress, and the facial expression conveys a sense of profound serenity.
