MARIANNE DE TREY (1913-2016), British, a square stoneware footed dish and faceted vase, both with makers mark, dish 24cm sq, vase height 19.5cmBoth in good condition, no chips, cracks or restoration. Purchased by vendor at Skinner's Bridge, Dartington c. 1970s.

Attributed to David Leach (1911-2005) at Leach Pottery celadon glazed preserve pot, decorated with an oak leaf to the lid, impressed Leach pottery mark to the footrim, 7.5cm high, a Marianne de Trey (1913-2016) bowl, with small running facet cuts to the exterior, impressed shell potters mark to the footrim, 10cm high x 11.5cm across, a Kenneth Quick (1931-1963) at Tregenna Hill Pottery small fluted vase, with impressed seal mark to the footrim, 7cm high (3) Overall wear, marks and scratches to all. All with minimal glaze and firing faults. The David Leach preserve pot has an underglaze chip to the rim, made when potted, not damaged. Otherwise seems ok.

Marianne de Trey (1913-2016) collection of studio pottery, comprising of a large incised vase, with triangular mark to the footrim, 19.5cm high, a red glazed bowl, with triangular mark to the base, 10.5cm high overall, another bowl with original paper label which reads 'Marianne de Trey Bristol Guild 1984', 16.5cm x 10cm high and a small studio pottery spade shaped vase, with incised detailing to the foot, triangular mark to the footrim, 15cm high (4) All with overall display wear and minor scratches. Crazing to the glaze of the red bowl. The red glazed bowl also had a Bristol Guild label which has detached from the bowl. Otherwise seems ok.
