A 1920s Mahjong set. The wooden brass-mounted case with carrying handle and sliding front with Chinese characters, opening to reveal five drawers, with bone and bamboo tiles. Along with four spare tiles, a collection of bone scoring sticks, horn Ming pot with four wind discs in bone, four miniature bone dice in a rectangular wooden box with a sliding lid. Measures approx. 24cm x 16.8cm x 16.5cm.No chips or cracks to the case.

Surface scratches. General wear consistent with age. The top handle has come off and there is a missing bracket. The dice later. There does not appear to be any missing tiles.
