ˑ An original Oxford Pad notepad in which Freddie Mercury has handwritten a partial track list for Queen's 1974 album 'Sheer Heart Attack'. This list differs from the final track list. A stamp has been applied on the front cover from the RMS Queen Elizebeth 2 with the words 'posted on board maiden transatlantic voyage' and the date 2nd May 1969. Freddie has written in black ballpoint pen and it reads: Brighton Rock Killer Queen Bring Back The Leroy Brown She Makes Me In the Lap of the Gods Stone Cold Crazy In the Lap of the Gods... Revisited Now I'm Here' The notepad measures 20.3cm x 25.5cm (8 inches x 10 inches). Two thirds of the back card cover has been cut away, the reverse bears notes in an unknown hand. The condition of the page is very good. Provenance: previously sold as part of lot 136 from the Freddie Mercury: A World Of His Own, On Stage sale held at Sotheby's, New Bond Street, London on the 7th September. This item is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity on Tracks Ltd. letterhead stating the above.
