Yes one lamp is broken it would require a replacement threaded rod the holds the floating disc section together, it is not with the lot and would need to made to fit.

The lamp was part of an eccentric interior scheme by McGrath, commissioned around 1932 by the then owner of Villa Finella, Mansfield D Forbes.A couple of dents to the cover, some loss of copper finish and further pitting, blacking with overpainting, one securing rod missing from cover, general scuffs and wear commensurate with age. From a property clearance and thus no known provenance.

Amsterdam school: A 1920s turned wood lamp attributed to De Nieuwe Honsel. With lead and stained glass bell shaped shade (with multicoloured geomatrical pattern), topped with a wooden conic finial and with a copper rim at the base. Mounted on a walnut tapered stem on spreading foot. 74cm high - shade approx 25cm high and 22cm diameter at the widest.

Winchcombe Pottery: two stoneware studio pottery lamps - both of bulbous ovoid form, one a table lamp fitted for electricity, in a speckled deep brown glaze, 24.5cm high to top of brass shade rest; the other an oil lamp, in a black and iron red glaze with incised wavy line decoration, 22.75cm high to shade rest (both lack shade, but complete with chimneys), both with impressed pottery marks.
