LACHENAL; a forty-eight key English System 'Edeophone' concertina numbered 47716, with ebonised finish to the wood and presented in later associated case.Diameter; 22cmCondition Report: There is an area of fretwork missing around the thumb guard, there is one key missing, some heavy rubbing to the ebonised finish in some areas, also scratch marks around the screws to the end plates, various very small cracks to the fret detail with some knocks and bruises, scuffs to the leather on raised parts and also to the edges of the bellows but no signs of repairs or holes within the bellows.

33-Key Anglo Concertina by Lachenal With pierced rosewood end caps, bone buttons, serial number 117050, in mahogany case with key. The case measures 18cm tall. The concertina will play notes when compressed or stretched however some buttons stick, others do not play a correct note or sound shrill. The bellows look to be in good order without any repairs or obvious holes. There is some wear marks to the rosewood caps where the varnish has worn away completely but there are no splits or losses to the piercing. The box is structurally sound, some small shrinkage splits can be seen and small losses to the edge of the lid near the lock. The key works the lock correctly.
