1946 Wurlitzer Model 1015 Jukebox. An older restoration, has some replaced plastics and veneer, however it is a good solid box and works and plays well. Coin gear is present, no keys. The Model 1015 was so successful after World War II and its release in 1946, it saved the company from bankruptcy. Serial No.: 1026302. Dimensions (H x W x D): 154 x 83 x 63 cm. Condition: Very Good. For further information on Ray Goddard and the collection see lot 144.Music Boy was a British-bred chestnut colt foaled in 1975 by Jukebox out of Veronique (Matador).Music Boy would become the Cheveley Park Stud’s first Group winner (Gimcrack Stakes), trained by ‘Snowy’ Wainwright; and their first stallion, proving the Leading First-Season Sire in 1980. Music Boy is commemorated at the Stud Fram through a life-size bronze by the sculptor Jonathan Knight.

The exterior face is in need of some restoration as there is signs of water ingress. This is included in the additional images. Otherwise this exterior would need a full clean and service to insure the full working order. Furthermore, the electrical fittings have been removed from the back of the jukebox. The internal wiring does not appear to be removed, as there is a wire from the back exterior. Additional images of this are also included.

(104cm) wide, the height 51.1/2in. (131cm)When plugged in, main control board lights up, front lights are all operational, speakers work, when selection is made, selecter wheel rotates, record arm does not collect, turn table is not operational, needle arm does not engage, internal dust, external case tarnished and worn throught time and use, no major damage visible. Main cover lock has been popped and is a little fiddly.

Officially licensed by Harley-Davidson and built by Rock-Ola, this CD jukebox is in excellent condition, both mechanically and cosmetically.
