Sevres style painted pottery and gilt metal mounted mantel clock, circa 1910, the arched case with shell cresting above cream enamelled dial decorated with Arabic hour numerals and flower pendants, above a scene depicting courting couple in 18th century dress, flanked by columns painted with trees and vignettes, within pale blue foliate gilt decorated borders, on foliate scrolled front legs, signed and painted by Petit, the two train brass drum movement by Japy Freres, with anchor escapement striking on a gong, 26.5cm high x 28cm wide.
