Horikawa (Japan) Fighting Robot, c.1960s: tinplate battery operated robot is grey with red feet, clear plastic panel to chest revealing detailed tinprinting underneath, clear plastic dome to head with green and orange cogs. Height 28cm. F, corrosion to rear and battery compartment, arm has been repaired with screw, and crocodile clip on wire has been added.
Horikawa (Japan) Super Astronaut Robot, c.1960`s: tinplate battery operated robot, with opening chest to reveal plastic guns, clear visor with face behind, height 29cm. G condition with clean battery compartment, tested - when switched on robot swivels at waist, only one door to chest appears to open, guns light up and make firing sound, robot sometimes walks. Contained in G/F box.
Horikawa battery operated Dino Robot also an Attacking Martian, both with original boxes. (2) 28cm high Condition report: Both robots show little sign of use, there are only very minor scratches to the enamel. The boxes have small rips to the corners and wear to the edges. Not tested as working.
Horikawa SH (Japan) Fighting Robot, c.1960`s: tinplate battery operated robot, dark grey with red feet, rubber rollers, plated parts, gears to head, clear plastic chest with tinprinted detail behind and firing ray gun, on/off switch. Height 29cm. Overall G+ condition with some wear to plated parts/some mottling to paint, VG clean battery compartment, in working order. Contained in G box, tear to one corner of lid.
Horikawa (S.H., Japan) Dino Robot, c. early 1960s: battery operated with tinplate body legs and arms, plastic head which opens to reveal dinosaurs head, dinosaurs mouth opens to reveal red light, detailed tinprinting to chest. Height 28.5cm. VG condition, small circle of corrosion to battery compartment cover, battery compartment is clean, one metal probe loose in fitting. Not tested due to loose probe in battery compartment. Contained in F box, lid torn and taped at one end.
Horikawa (S.H., Japan) Rotate-O-Matic Super Astronaut, c.1960s: battery operated tinplate robot, black with red feet and detailed tinprinting to chest which opens to reveal `guns`, clear visor with face behind. When switched on this robot walks forwards, stops, opens its hatches and starts to fire in a 360 degree circle, after 3 circles the hatches close and he continues to walk forwards. G+ with slight spidering effect, some corrosion to mouth, clean battery compartment. In working order at time of going to press, in F box with card sleeve for robot`s head.
