L'air du Temp, a Lalique for Nina Ricci scent bottle, the frosted glass stopper modelled as two doves in flight, acid etched marks to underside, 10.5cm high; together with Naide, a Lalique polished and frosted glass cendrier, the central arched panel intaglio decorated with a water nymph, etched marks to underside, 11 x 9.5cm; and Floreal, a Lalique frosted glass figurine of a kneeling maiden, etched marks to rim, 7cm high (3)All three pieces are in good condition.
A set of four Georgian Bristol blue glass carafes or decanters - early 19th century, onion shaped with ground pontils, 18.5cm high, with cork and white metal stoppers (two of crescent form, inscribed 'Gin' and 'Brandy'), each with a matching silver wine label, 'Gin', 'Rum', 'Brandy' and 'Whiskey', Ledsham, Vale & Wheeler, Birmingham 1829-30 (one suspension ring replaced).* In good condition overall. All have expected scratching around the base and a few small scratches to the belly. One has a burst air bubble to the flat top of the rim. No chips, cracks or other damage. The Gin stopper is missing the bottom 1cm of the cork and the metal domed mount. One silver wine label has a replaced suspension ring (appears to have been made from a ring of solder wire).
An unusual 19th century Bristol blue glass apothecary's bottle, of double gourd form - with polished pontil and silver mounted cork stopper, possibly later, 19.8cm high; together with two other pieces of 19th century Bristol blue glass, comprising a pedestal bowl, with folded foot, 9.7cm high; and a small, squat baluster jug, 5.4cm high. AN ORMOLU PENDULE D'OFFICER LATE 19TH CENTURY The eight-day timepiece movement with white enamel Roman numeral dial mounted in a drum case supported on flanking winged sphinges and on diapered plinth base 17.5cm high Together with an associated garniture of two scent bottles, each with an Egyptian mask above the cut glass body and gilt metal base, 18cm high Condition Report: Movement is fully wound but is presently not running hence requires attention - most likely to the platform escapement. The movement and dial are not original to the case (are late 19th century) although the hands are probably from the original movement. The dial has a light hairline crack through 10 o'clock. The case is in good original condition although is lacking one securing screw for the rear bezel and has overall light rubbing and oxidation to the mounts. The side pieces are scent bottles late 'matched' to the timepiece. The glass of each is free form noticeable cracks but has chipping to the tips of the cut decoration and some staining/fogging to the interiors. One mummiform head caps is fixed in position and the base of the same bottle has a loose section to the gilt platform. The other bottle has removable mummiform head to reveal a glass stopper which is seized tight in the neck. The mounts are generally a little rubbed/oxidised.There is no winding key present.
