Januar 2015, in Kopie.Das vorliegende Paar Ansichten ist im Umkreis von Vittorio Amedeo Cignaroli und Giovan Battista Cimaroli entstanden und verbindent eine stimmungsvolle Landschaft mit Architekturcapricci unter Verwendung antiker Versatzstücke. Sestieri hält eine Zuschreibung der Gemälde an den genannten Maler für möglich, da sie mit einigen seiner signierten Gemälde verglichen werden können. Guido Gambone (Italian 1909-1969) - An original mid 20th Century studio art pottery ceramic bowl of shaped form. The bowl having a mottled lava effect glaze in a puce purple tone. Decorated with long bands of green chevrons and circular thumb marks. The underside further finished in a purple mottled glaze. The base with Donkey signature (Guido not his son Bruno) and signed Gambone Italy TOT607. Measures approx; 12cm x 23cm. Condition; AF with damage / split repair.
Guido Gambone (Italian 1909-1969) - An original mid 20th Century studio art pottery ceramic bowl of circular form. The bowl having a mottled lava effect glaze in a puce purple tone. The border with indented cartouche panels depicting alternating leaves and geometric patterns. The central well with four 'S' shaped panels surrounding a central four section square with circular details. The underside further finished in a purple mottled lava effect glaze with banded purple and yellow conical base leading to a raised circular foot. The base with Donkey signature (Guido not his son Bruno) and signed Gambone Italy TOT565. Rope and hanging holes to base. Measures approx; 8cm x 25cm. Condition; no visible signs of major damage, some very minor crazing on close inspection.
