A fabulous and finely preserved Barasaurus Besairiei skeleton from the plateau d'Isala in Madagascar, this outstanding example is well preserved in its original rock matrix; under close inspection using 40 times magnification one can see the perfect shape of the bones. Also, there are some semi precious crystals of reddish colour, maybe garnets? which can be appreciated under magnification (see the last photo). The rock matrix size and shape makes it just perfect for easy display in any part of your home and you would not need special lighting to appreciate such spectacular fossil. Provenance: From a British private collection. Condition: Very good overall, rock matrix broke in two professionally repaired. Ich hoffe, daß Sie das [Diplom der] Mitgliedschaft der hiesigen Gesellschaft [Naturfor]schender Freunde richtig werden erhalten [haben], dessen Beförderung an Sie ihr nunmehrige[r] Director, B.
