Decorated in gilding with a long panel of groups of figures at various pursuits within pavilion interiors and in gardens, set within a cushion shaped frame decorated with flowers and fruits, with lower fretwork and lotus carved frieze, flanked by two supports carved with figures, 40.5cm x 131 cm wide Overall in good decorative order. Some typical flaking and wear to lacquer overall, the fretwork with some small areas of the cracking and repair. The reverse has been drilled at a later date with bracket-type support for hanging. Minor splitting and losses to reverse.
