Some of the silver banding has sprung slightly at the back. Nick to the rim of on decanter. All stoppers are chipped.

A mid 19th Century Killarney fold over rectangular games table, probably by James Egan (1799-1842), constructed in yew, cherry wood, arbutus and bog oak, the swivel top is inlaid with a scene of Muckross Abbey flanked by two large fern leaves within geometric bands and foliate border, opening to reveal a chess, backgammon and cribbage board and two further panels depicting an Abbey ruins and a cottage, on conforming frieze and square tapering legs, height 78cm x depth 43cm x width 79cm. Provenance - It has been in the vendor's possession for many years. It is similar to a design once owned by Queen Victoria, held in the Royal Collection Trust.
