Y A VICTORIAN CORAL AND BOUTON PEARL FLOWERHEAD BROOCH AND A LATER CITRINE CLOVER BROOCH/PENDANT The flowerhead with cabochon oval coral set petals, a central bouton pearl, in a gold setting, unmarked, in an associated box; together with a mid 20th century citrine clover brooch/pendant, unmarked, on a later 9 carat gold fancy link chain Size/dimensions: first 1.96cm long; second 1.9cm wide, chain 41cm long Gross weight: 7.9 grams Condition Report: The brooch has some light wear, no noticeable damage or repairs. The box it is in doesn't fit perfectly. The clover brooch has some light wear, the suspensory loop is later and is the chain, come of the citrines has an unpolished section behind the stone, not noticeable when worn. Y A MID VICTORIAN CORAL AND DIAMOND PENDANT The circular panel centred with a circular cabochon coral within a raised old cut diamond accented claw setting, to rope twist decorated surround with rectangular cabochon coral set ring with rose cut diamond points between, later diamond set bale, with locket compartment verso, unmarked Size/dimensions: 4cm diameter Gross weight: 19.4 grams Condition Report: The bale is later, the post has been pierced into the rim of the back of the panel. The back of the panel appears to have been slightly crushed, but not noticeable to the front. There is a tiny section of thin wire missing to the front of the panel at the base. Two small diamond points missing. The setting is in our opinion gold, we have done a surface test with 9ct acid and had no reaction, however we have not scraped it due to the destructive nature of the test. Y A PAIR OF ANTIQUE CORAL EARRINGS AND BROOCH CIRCA 1880 The earrings with polished cabochon coral pediments suspending a polished coral bead and baton panel to a trio of polished coral drops, shepherds hook fittings, together with a matching polished coral bead and baton brooch Size/dimensions: earrings 4.8cm long, brooch 3.9cm wide Gross weight: 13.7 grams Condition Report: The items all have some wear commensurate with age and use, one of the earrings central drop has had a replacement loop soldered on and the drop itself has a hole to one side with some losses around it, some old dirt in the hole. The brooch has had a coral bead replaced with a glass bead. There are some pits and hairline fractures to some of the surfaces, some nicks and nibbles to the tops of the drops. A Chinese glass bead court necklace, Chaozhu, late Qing dynasty - with glass and clay beads simulating amber, jade and coral and gilt metal mounts, probable later alterations to stringing, overall length approximately 80cm.* The stringing has been altered and the necklace no longer hangs in its original, correct form (see photos). There is a large chip and a much smaller chip to the largest green jade-style glass panel and the blue and amber coloured glass pendants both have a small chip.
