An early 20th Century Chinese rosewood tea table, the fielded panelled top above a dragon carved frieze on scroll end supports, 98 cm wide x 43 cm deep x 34 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Has some scratching to the top particularly to one corner. There is a bit of damage in the same corner on the frame. There are some losses to the moulding on one of the side panels both at the top and further down. There is some cracking to the legs running vertically down from the top. In need of a clean. There is also a large chip from the long edge nearly half way down. See images for further detail. Otherwise general wear and tear conducive with age and use to include surface scratches, etc.

A traditional Chinese Shoushan Seal from c1947 Republic of China (ROC) period, hand-carved on a natural Shoushan "FuRong" stone. The seal features two exquisitely carved "Chi Long" dragons on top and bears the side inscriptions. Seal content: "Full Spring in Courtyard." Dimensions: W 4.5 cm x D 4.5 cm x H 8.5 cm. Weight 335g. Side Inscriptions: "This Seal was written (made) for Xiaozhu. May in Dinghai Year (1947) was recorded in Xiluojia Chamber". Seal content comes from the traditional Chinese Spring Festival Couplets: Right Scroll “Full Spring in Courtyard"; Left Scroll "Full Happiness at Home”; Top Scroll "Good Luck and Good Fortune".

A GROUP OF CHINESE LONGQUAN CELADON GLAZED PORCELAIN VASES, STEM DISH AND ALMS BOWL, YUAN /MING DYNASTY. To include a nicely moulded vase with scroll handles and flared mouth, decorated with floral motifs; Together with a two other bottle vases, a stem dish and alms bowl with deep rounded sides on short foot covered in a finely crackled sea green glaze leaving the rim unglazed. Tallest vase 11.5cm tall. Bowl 13cm diam. (5) Provenance: Property of a Sussex gentleman Condition: The bowl with firing crack to interior base which leads into hairlines around the body. Probable repairs around the neck of the smallest vase, with glaze defects around the neck. The other items in good order with no signs of damage or repairs.

Of rectangular form decorated with coastal scenes in cartouches on a floral scroll ground, under blue enamel bands of ruyi and key fret at the rim. Approx. 17cm wide. (4) Provenance: Property of a Sussex gentleman Condition: One stand restuck in two sections with crack and chip to corner. Small filled in chip to rim of one planter. Other planter and stand in good condition.

(7) Condition: Repair to one leg of deer carving with some cracks and slight losses to tips of antlers. Repair to top of Liu Haichan figure near loop.

The turquoise-ground brush-pot decorated with flowers and waves on a fret pattern ground, 12.5cm high, a turquoise-ground domed cylindrical box and cover decorated with butterflies and flowering branches 9cm diam., another cylindrical example decorated with birds, butterflies and flowers and a rectangular white-ground hinged box and cover, decorated with prunus on a scroll pattern ground 9cm wide (4) Provenance: Property of a Sussex gentleman Condition: The circular domed box and cover - with a chip to the enamel to the interior of the bowl, with a dent to the side of the box, the underside of the cover with a small chip and associated cracking. The cylindrical box and cover with some slight losses, chipping and wear. The white ground rectangular box and hinged cover - minor wear. Some wear to enamels and minor losses overall.

(2) Condition: Slight shallow chip to rim of both. Otherwise in good decorative order with no major signs of damage or repair.

TWO CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN JARS, 18/19TH CENTURY. The first decorated with coastal scene; Together with a jar and cover decorated with roundels with various flowers on a cherry blossom ground below a band of ruyi and cloud scroll cover. Approx. 20cm tall. (2) Provenance: Property of a Sussex gentleman Condition: Coastal jar with metal pins at the shoulder, perhaps once holding a cover, with four pronged hairline to base. The cover with small shallow chip to edge, jar in good condition.
A Chinese Bronze Two-Handled Censer and Pierced Cover, 18th Century, of archaistic style, the cover cast with kylin finial and dragons amongst clouds, the body cast with bats on a key ground, and scroll cast feet, 10ins (25.4cm) x 6ins (15.5cm) x 10.5ins (26.7cm) high Censer and cover weighs 8.3kg. There are a few very light scattered 'dings' but otherwise the censer appears to be in good condition with no obvious damage/loss/restoration.
Bu Qun (Zhang Lewei) (Chinese, contemporary), a large hanging scroll, depicting an imaginary bowl of blue flowers, the text of the Ode from the Zhounan section of the canonical Book of Odes, Shi jing, for a girl about to be married and to leave her natal home (written behind the flowers), titled, signed, dated, and with seven seals, 97cm x 60cm, in original presentation box (with artist's brochure) Provenance: Given to the current vendor by a Vice-President of the PRC (Peoples Republic of China) on a visit In a fairly clean condition with no visible signs or rips or tear. There is creasing throughout the scroll, with also visible folding lines from previous handling. There are some small minor markings found on the fabric baking and some minor marking and staining to the scroll reverse. There colour pigment has retained well with little fading. The scroll box is in a clean state and condition with small signs of wear and tear and abrasian marks from previous handling. The brochure has been provided with an additional photograph.
