A Regency Rosewood marble-topped library chiffonier of architectural form. with moulded flush frieze drawer above a pair of cupboard doors with inset tooled leather bound faux volumes, flanked by a pair of Doric pilasters on a simple plinth foot. 107 cm wide x 40 cm deep x 90 cm overall height.The backboards are taped one side is an old cloth and glue bandage type repair and the other side a parcel tape repair!The doors open and close as expected with no significant warp or twist and sit happily even whilst unlocked.The frieze drawer has had its runners replaced in an "Honest" workmen like repair that is functional if a little ugly.I have taken further images with a piece of white paper for colour reference, on my screen the reproduction of these later images is accurate, however the rendering of colour differs from monitor to monitor.Some of the leather bindings are a little tatty but nothing a bit of care wouldn't remedy.
