Christmas card, 1936, signed 'Albert' and with a rubber stamp for 'Elizabeth', under the printed message with ink date, the name Elizabeth partly inked over (seemingly with the same pen and ink as that used by George VI for his signature), a mounted black and white photograph of the Royal Lodge facing, folded card with blue crest on the front and one blue tie, a little soiled and split along lower half of spine, 20 x 16 cm, together with autograph envelope signed by George VI lower left with initials, soiled and worn The Queen had 'flu this year and was uncharacteristically unable to sign the cards herself.
