A collection of Devon art pottery, principally CH Brannam and Baron Barnstaple, including two puzzle jugs, one with sgraffito verse 'From mother Earth I took my birth, then formed a jug by man, Now I stand here, filled with good cheer, Drink of me if you Can', 14cm high; the other, dated 19001, in dark blue and brown glaze, 16cm high; a small bell, inscribed 'The Belle of Devon speaks only when tolled'; a ribbed green jug, 14cm high; a stylised fish jug, dated 1898, 21.5cm high, a William Baron vase decorated with grapes against a purple mottled ground, numbered 463, 13cm high; a rectangular blue planter, 19cm wide; and two blue vases, a Torquay vase and two small tiles monogrammed SJBCondition:Handle and spouts of the sgraffito puzzle jug are restored.The planter has a body crack to one side and some small losses/nibbles to glaze on edges.Fish jug - Three large foot rim chips to underside, stress crack around handle and a nibble to the spout.No other noted damges or repairs.

The vase of mottled blue ground, featuring relief enamel Neoclassical design featuring twin griffins besides an urn, each griffin with paw raised & wings outstretched, painted in earthy red & orange tones. Marked to base C. H. Brannam & J. D. Barum, 1888. Light chips to edge of base. Measures approx. 33cm tall.
