An early 18th Century walnut and crossbanded chest, fitted with a frieze drawer above two short and three long drawers on later bracket feet, 108cm wide, 55cm deep, 103cm highFair condition with marks and scuffs commensurate with use. Old repairs to veneers around the drawers. Several losses to veneers around the drawers. Bracket feet replaced. Handles not the original. One is currently off and part missing. Both sides have a vertical strip of wood attached, probably mitigating a shrinkage gap.
