A Second World War Australian made Battledress Blouse to the Suffolk Regiment, embroidered Suffolk Regiment shoulder titles, formation signs, and sergeants rank insignia to both sleeves, label to interior states 'V470, Made in Australia, 1943, Size 5, Chest 36-37, Waist 31-32, Height 5.5-5.6'.

GROUPING TO 22/21 SAS VETERAN MAJOR STUART PERRY A grouping of items Special Air Service veteran Major Stuart Perry including, a sand coloured private purchase officers beret with bullion embroidered Special Air Service badge, maker 'Herbert Johnson, 38 Bond Street, London, W', Officers Canadian made 1949 Pattern Battledress Blouse, bronze rank crowns to epaulette's, c1950's period SAS parachute wings to right sleeve, embroidered 'Special Air Service' titles to both shoulders, medal ribbon bar for the Defence Medal, 1939-1945 British War Medal, and General Service Medal (Malaya), sewn to left breast, makers details to interior to 'Master Craft Uniform Co. Reg'd Quebec', dated 1955, size 22, Height 5' 7" to 5' 8", breast 41-42, a second pattern Denison Smock, quarter zip in brass with 'Swift' slider to front, 'Newey' press studs throughout, 'tail' with press studs for fastening to the back, knitted cuffs (no signs of any tabs ever having been fitted so this is believed to be a later version of the 2nd Pattern from after 1952 when the the knitted cuffs were reverted in the specifications, the 3rd Patter Denison Smock with full length zip was issued in 1959, the original cuffs appear to have been replaced with sock tops in blue), silk/nylon points Green Flags, East to West Long Jims Ladang, Paddy's Ladang' (a ladang was a plantation or field), other side of the paper reads 'Operational Areas 1950-1959, Malayan Scouts-22 Special Air Service Regiment', jungle 'forts' were used by the security forces to conduct operations against the MNLA (Malayan National Liberation Army), colour print copy of same map, colour print copy of a close up section of the same map, these were all possibly used as training/lecture aids, black and white photocopy of an original map used by Major Perry in Malaya, showing the area of operations for 21 1926 in Birkenhead, his father Samuel won the M.C on the Somme while serving with the Kings regiment, he was commissioned into the 12th (Prince of Wales) Royal Lancers in 1945 after passing out of Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, he was posted on secondment to The Kenya Armoured Car Regiment in anticipation of it being moved to Burma but on the surrender of the Japanese, the unit was sent to Somaliland, in 1953, Perry, whose regiment had recently been posted to Malaya for service in the 'Emergency' was posted to D Squadron Malayan Scouts/22 SAS to command 17 (Boat) Troop, at the end of WW2 the regular SAS regiments were disbanded, 21 SAS was formed in 1947 as part of the Territorial Army, to act as a reconnaissance unit in the event of a war in Europe, at the start of the emergency, Z squadron of 21 SAS was sent to Malaya and formed the Malayan Scouts, to these men were added volunteers of former WW2 SAS men stood down from service in Korea and from units already in country, initially 2 Squadrons strong, C squadron, raised in Rhodesia joined later, and then D Squadron, raised in 1953, the Malayan Scouts were later renamed 22nd Special Air Service Regiment and reinstated into the regular army, Perrys first Squadron commander was Johnny Cooper one of the original WW2 members of L Detachment/ SAS, Perrys obituary in The Times reads in part 'Perry’s squadron commander, John Cooper, one of the original members of the SAS in North Africa, described the rigours of one operation at the latter end of 1953. The squadron, which owing to leave, training, sickness and parachuting accidents, was just 40 strong, was in the jungle continuously for 122 days, supplied throughout by air. Fifteen men went down with fever or malaria, and two were killed in a CT ambush.

Dismounted 1940 pattern great coat. To each sleeve printed Home Guard tittle and SY10 badges. The interior with issue label Size 8 June 1942 ... Other Ranks Side Cap fitted with a General Service Cap Badge ... Brown leather Home Guard pattern belt. The overall condition is very clean, near unissued condition with no moth. Late 19th century fashion to include a plaid silk skirt (s/d), a Swiss dot muslin apron with cutwork flounce (some repairs), a white cotton half apron with cutwork border (small L shaped tear), a white cotton blouse with pin tucks, inserts of lace at the wrists and white work cuffs, plus a lace bonnet, the crown being an intricate needle run lace with padded satin stitch giving a tgeee dimensional effect to the design. There are ruffles of stuffly starched bobbin lace at the brow and a silk ribbon bow hangs at the back (ribbon is shredding and ruffles have some age related discolouration). (Qty, 1 bag)

Vintage check Daks womenswear to include a 1970s DAKS for Simpson Piccadilly duffle coat in camel with classic daks check lining, a pleated check skirt (some moth),  a check shirt dress, two wool jackets and and two more wool skirt, one being A-line with a suede trim to the pockets, plus a 1976 registered design blouse (9)  duffle coat has some nibbles to the hem, all pieces show wear commensurate with age and use. Blouse has badly patched repair to arm 

Rare WWII Nazi German SS "Dot 44" Camouflage Pattern Tunic (feldbluse). This historically significant piece was part of the standard issue combat uniform for Waffen-SS infantry units during the later stages of the Second World War. The M44 is a cotton/rayon blend construction field blouse has an HBT, (Herring Bone Twill), weave and machine printed dot pattern camouflage to the exterior. The field blouse features a vertical, five button front closure with small fold back lapels, a single metal hook and eye positioned at the neckline and a lay down collar. The blouse has four, non-pleated, patch front pockets with straight edged button down flaps. The straight cut sleeve have a small vertical slash to the outside seam with single button closure. The front closure and exterior pocket buttons are the field gray painted, pebbled, sheet metal type while the cuff buttons are the Bakelite type. Eagle patch on left sleeve. Inside bottom right has a dressing pocket with a single button closure. This tunic represents a tangible piece of World War II history, offering insight into the military attire and camouflage innovations of the era. It serves as a valuable artifact for historians, collectors and museums focused on 20th-century military studies. Good condition

A rare Leontine Rohmer glazed bisque shoulder swivel head fashion doll with trunk and trousseau, French circa 1860, the slightly tinted bisque head with finely painted upper glancing blue eyes, with darker lined upper lids, finely painted lashes and feathered brows, closed mouth and rouged cheeks, original sheepskin wig and cork pate with hairnet, the flat-cut swivel head to bisque shoulder plate and kid leather body with bisque lower arms and beautifully modelled hands, the kid body with eyelets for string to allow the doll to sit, original blue Rohmer stamp to chest and painted wooden ball joints to knees for posing doll, wearing a fine brown silk dress with turquoise trim, white cotton blouse, underclothes, socks and brown leather heeled boots, 14” (36cm) tall, (condition: in perfect condition, small split to kid leather at back of left thigh), together with her red leather trunk with paper label to interior lid ‘Poupee’, sectioned compartments and tray, her trousseau includes a black two piece skirt and jacket with red braid trim, buttons and black and red card boater, typical attire for bathing, a green and black striped gown with flared jacket and black lace trim, a mauve and black striped silk gown, flared velvet jacket with elaborate braiding and tassels, and a grey silk gown with black check pattern and jacket, with mauve detail, and a straw bonnet.

A good all original Jumeau bisque shoulder head fashion doll, French circa 1870, the pale bisque head with fixed light blue spiral glass eyes, painted lashes and feather brows, closed mouth with delicately painted lips, pierced ears and original light brown wig in ringlets with cork pate, swivel head to bisque shoulder plate and kid leather body with individually stitched fingers, wearing a beautiful teal silk gown with fitted jacket and layered skirt with black glass beadwork decoration, cream silk hat with cloth flowers, blouse, underclothes, socks and brown leather boots, (condition: excellent, small firing line to left side of nose), 18” (46cm) tall.

‘Miss Penelope’ an important early English carved wooden doll with provenance, circa 1720, the finely carved painted gesso face with pronounced chin, black inserted enamel eyes with detail to lids, single stroke brows with slight feathering to one, well carved ears and later nailed on black cloth cap, elongated neck to shaped bosom, tapered waist with flat bottom, and cloth upper arms to painted wooden lower arms with nicely carved hands, tenon-jointed to hips and knees, and is also anatomically correct, wearing her original gold silk dress with three quarter length pleated sleeves, white cotton blouse and stomacher, white cotton apron, white quilted underskirt with blue and white striped wool lining, further white ribbed cotton skirt with finely hand embroidered hem decorated with pink and green flowers, two secret pockets, one with similar flower embroidery, long red wool socks with knitted ties, single red leather shoe and white cotton Dutch-style bonnet, 19” (48cm) tall, (condition: there has been some professional conservation to this dolls head, black silk shawl fraying, lacks one shoe), together with her black silk shawl, with red trim and tassels, white shawl, long white cotton nightdress, with matching night-cap and silk tartan handkerchief. Provenance: Lady Penelope has various letters and documents with research and information, it is purported that she was bought over to England from Holland by a lady in waiting, also that the doll has a sister in the London V&A museum of Childhood, Miss Caroline.
