FACE/OFF (1997) - Castor Troy's (Nicolas Cage) Pair of Light-Up Magnetic Erewhon Prisoner Boots - Castor Troy's (Nicolas Cage) pair of light-up magnetic Erewhon prisoner boots from John Woo's Face/Off. In the guise of terrorist Troy, Archer and his fellow inmates at Erewhon Prison were fitted with magnetised boots designed to prevent a breakout.These heavyweight custom boots are constructed from black rubber and machined aluminium plating hand-marked "Cage" and "CR-10" on the interiors and engraved "ELWOOD SAFETY APPLIANCE CO." on both their heel plates. Plaques engraved with inmate number "75369-B," which differs slightly from Archer-as-Troy's inmate number as seen in the final cut, are screwed to their tops. The boots are inset with wiring and come with three electronic battery packs designed to illuminate the small round lights on the ankle cuffs, with the wiring recently having undergone restoration to restore functionality. It is made of foam latex, on which dark, lifeless eyes and pale, mottled flesh are hand-painted. The long wig is made of jet black synthetic hair. HELLBOY (2004) - Hellboy's (Ron Perlman) Costume on Display - Hellboy's (Ron Perlman) costume from Guillermo del Toro's fantasy film Hellboy. Hellboy wore his costume while visiting Rasputin's (Karel Roden) mausoleum, and during the film's final climactic battle. The costume includes a black T-shirt with a black jacket worn over the top; a pair of leather trousers; and a leather belt and holster with metal hardware (including a lucky horseshoe and a crucifix) plus a long red foam latex tail coming from the rear. The costume also features a full-length leather duster, with a leather B.P.R.D. patch and a grenade belt on the left shoulder. The grenade belt is deliberately damaged, as in the film it was broken during the fight against Rasputin and his hellhounds. A pair of black leather boots are included to complete the outfit. Two labels are attached to the costume, which declare the numbers of the scenes it was produced for. The lot is accompanied by a resin replica Good Samaritan pistol with a leather tassel and a replica Fist of Doom, as well as a facial appliance. It is presented on a custom-made mannequin display, and the replica items also come with custom-made display stands, and are packed in their original boxes. JEEPERS CREEPERS (2001) - The Creeper's (Jonathan Breck) Head, Hands, and Boots - The Creeper's (Jonathan Breck) head, hands, and boots from Victor Salva's horror film Jeepers Creepers. The ancient Creeper wore his boots while terrorising siblings Trish and Darry Jenner (Gina Philips and Justin Long) as they drove through Florida. This lot consists of a dark green foam latex facial appliance with a cowl accent and black resin mandible, two pairs of dark grey foam latex hands; and a pair of black leather and rubber boots with cloth details. The appliance comes mounted on a black bust, which has been autographed in gold ink by Breck, while one set of hands comes on a custom wood-and-plastic display stand autographed in gold ink by makeup design supervisor Brian Penikas. Alongside his signature, Penikas has written, "Wes, Hands up! Keep on Creepin!". The autograph on the bust is dated 2006, while the autograph on the hands is dated 2007. The lot has been sympathetically restored to stabilise the hardened foam on the appliance and the undisplayed pair of hands. It nonetheless exhibits extensive ageing throughout, with holes and grime intentionally applied by production to the cowl and boots. THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY (2001-2003) - Legolas' (Orlando Bloom) Pair of Prosthetic Elf Ear Tips - Legolas' (Orlando Bloom) prosthetic elf ear tips from Peter Jackson's epic fantasy trilogy The Lord of the Rings. Bloom wore his elf ear tips throughout his performance as Legolas, from his first appearance at the Council of Elrond in The Fellowship of the Ring to the trilogy's moving conclusion in The Return of the King. These prosthetic pointed ear tips were an essential part of Legolas' elven appearance. Several pairs were created for Bloom by Weta Workshop during the massive production, which required multiple versions of each costume and make-up appliance. The ear tips' colour and shape was designed to suit the actor's complexion. Each is worn from production use and exhibits some cracking due to age. The lot comes with a custom wood-and-metal stand, as well as a letter of authenticity from the actor's mother Sonia Bloom. PAN'S LABYRINTH (2006) - Faun (Doug Jones) Face Appliance - A Faun (Doug Jones) face appliance from Guillermo del Toro's fantasy film Pan's Labyrinth. Upon arriving at the Labyrinth, Ofelia (Ivana Baquero) met the fantastical Faun, with whom she interacted throughout the film, as he entrusted her with three tasks. Pan's Labyrinth was both a commercial and critical success, winning three Academy Awards in 2007 for Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction and Best Make-up. The Faun was brought to life using a combination of prosthetics created by DDT (founded by Academy Award-winners David Marti and Montse Ribe) and CGI, with Del Toro keen to avoid the complete use of digital effects to make the character more tangible. The face appliance is made of latex, hand-painted green with faux hair attached at the chin and along each jawline. It is displayed on a stand comprising a wooden base and a fibreglass facial frame. The Terminator sustained significant damage to his body after the attack on Cyberdyne, and later when he confronted the T-1000 (Robert Patrick) at the steel mill.Worn under the Terminator's torn shirt, the appliance simulated damaged, bloody skin, with the T-800's metal endoskeleton appearing beneath. The skin is made of foam latex and is distressed to appear charred, torn, and bloody. Beneath the skin is a dense urethane endoskeleton, which is painted silver-color and gray. The appliance features a black fabric backing with nylon straps and metal loops for fastening it to the actor. The foam-latex skin has become brittle with age and exhibits crumbling throughout. IT (2017) - Production-Made Bloodied Zombie Child Appliance Bust - A bloodied zombie child bust from the production of Andy Muschietti's It. In a deleted scene, Pennywise (Bill Skarsgard) deployed a horde of zombie children to terrorize the Losers Club. While made for production, this particular mask never made it to the final cut of the film.This is believed to be one of only four such appliances made for the zombie child sequence. Composed of silicone latex and hand-laid hair, this bust was hand-painted in mottled colors of gray, brown, and yellow. It features an eye-less socket sculpt, acrylic teeth, and a "melting" appearance with blood oozing from the mouth. The synthetic hair has SFX blood applied to the back, giving it the appearance of being matted and bloody. This bust comes on a custom-made foam bust. It exhibits chipping on the bust and frayed hair fibers, as well as notable adhesive residue on the hairline. Star Wars (1977) - A New Hope - an original production used prop Jawa flask appliance from their Ion Blaster guns. The Jawas are a race of furry humanoids native to the planet Tatooine, and are first seen in A New Hope as they capture R2D2. The flask is made of fibreglass with a wooden core, the outer fibreglass skin moulded and painted to appear as if leather, with faux rivets. A leather strap is fastened to both sides by means of metal rings. A screw protrudes from the top where the tube leading to the ion blaster would have once been affixed. The leather strap remains knotted at the top, likely done on-set by the original costume assistant in order to fit the actor. Measures 16cm tall (main body).  Provenance; From the collection of Gary Kurtz (Producer) - and supplied with a certificate of authenticity from the Kurtz / Joiner Archive which details the prop, its use, and history. Props from the very first film are considered extremely rare. A unique piece of Star Wars history.
