Registration No: D997 EBJ Chassis No: WBADK920501883744 MOT: December 2025First registered in East SuffolkFitted with an Alpina-style bodykit (front air-dam, rear spoiler), steering wheel, decals and alloy wheels which would cost thousands to source todayBased on a 518i (E28) donor car and still powered by a 1.8 litre four-cylinder engine allied to five-speed manual transmissionThe first E28 5-Series Alpina derivative, the B9 3.5 was in production from November 1981 – December 1987. Foreshadowing BMW’s own E28 M5, the Alpina was reputedly capable of 0-60mph in 6.3 seconds and 153mph thanks to its high performance engine, uprated suspension, enlarged brakes and front / rear spoilers. Just 64 of the 577 B9 3.5 cars made were reputedly to UK, right-hand drive specification (with only 18 of those being manual). Increasingly collectible, genuine B9 3.5 examples can fetch £60,000 or more. Based on a BMW 518i (E28), ‘D997 EBJ’ was converted into a B9 3.5 lookalike sometime ago. Indeed, sourcing a similar Alpina-style front air-dam, steering wheel, boot lid spoiler, ‘Deco’ stripe kit and alloy wheels today would cost a fair proportion of the guide price. First UK registered on August 1st 1986, the saloon was originally specified with Alpine White paintwork, cloth upholstery, power steering, five-speed manual transmission and a tilt / slide sunroof. Already highly convincing from a cosmetic perspective, an enterprising new owner could doubtless have a BMW M30 straight-six engine installed should they wish to complete the Alpina illusion. Offered for sale with history file and fresh MOT certificate (until 4.12.2025). For more information, please contact: Damian Jones damian.jones@handh.co.uk 07855 493737
Registration - FJ06 JJYChassis No. - WAPRS34005PE50297M.O.T. - April 2025Odometer - 155,000This striking silver 2006 Alpina Z4 Roadster S is a rare and desirable two-seater that definitely offers enthusiasts something a bit different. Number 297 of just 370 built (as recorded by a plaque inside), it was supplied new by Sytner, and is finished in Titanium Silver with black mohair soft-top plus a black leather interior with stitching in the Alpina colours of blue and green. Bespoke Alpina features include the seats, steering wheel, carpets, door sills and blue instrument dials. Outside, it has 19-inch alloy wheels in Alpina’s trademark deign, plus front and rear spoiler and, underneath, bespoke suspension. ‘FJ06JJY’ comes with all the original handbooks, service schedules, spare key, locking wheel nut, warning triangle and a comprehensive file of maintenance documents and invoices. It has evidence of being serviced almost annually since 2006. The most recent service and MOT was in April 2024. The vendor describes the hand-built engine, which has an Alpina-specific crankshaft and cylinder head, Mahle pistons and a stainless-steel Boysen exhaust, as being in ‘excellent’ condition, with ‘good’ bodywork, paintwork and interior. The car also comes with a generous level of standard equipment including electric seats, climate control and Dynamic Traction Control. The Alpina Z4 Roadster S was derived from the E85 BMW Z4. Like all Alpinas, it was custom-built from a BMW body-in-white – it was derived from the Z4 3.0i but received thousands of Alpina-specific modifications. The hand-built engine was enlarged to 3.4 litres, producing 300bhp, and combined with a ZF six-speed manual gearbox. 0-62mph takes just 5.1 seconds and it has a top speed of 159mph. A very rare machine, it was only built between 2003 and 2007, with 370 cars built in total – of which just 167 came to the UK. In summary:Ultra-rare Alpina Z4 Roadster S number 297 of 370Very comprehensive service history covers almost every year since 2006Highly collectable Alpina two-seater
Registration - FJ05 NGFChassis No. - WAPB544005RH10059M.O.T. - May 2025Odometer - 153,650This desirable 2006 BMW Alpina B5 is a well-presented example of an extremely rare car that is being offered at No Reserve. The discreet alternative to the E60 BMW M5, its supercharged 4.4-litre V8 has bombastic pulling power thanks to its incredible torque, plus electrifying performance from its 500bhp output. Using a ZF automatic gearbox rather than BMW’s jerky SMG semi-auto means it is often a nicer car to drive. It really is a car for knowledgeable enthusiasts – and this example, with a full service history mainly from BMW dealers and specialists, is particularly tempting. ‘FJ05NGF’ benefits from a rebuilt supercharger, offering reassurance to the new owner, and had a gearbox oil service a year ago. It also has upgraded M5 brake discs and a steel-plated engine tray. The engine, transmission and electrics are described as being in ‘good’ condition, with ‘average’ bodywork, paintwork and interior, and an odometer reading around 153,000 miles. The vendor, an Alpina enthusiast, adds that the private registration seen in the images will not be supplied with the car. The BMW Alpina B5 replaced the similarly 5 Series-based B10 in 2006. The first version, represented by this car, was based on the E60 BMW 5 Series, with the Alpina B5 being a high-performance alternative to the period BMW M5. Instead of the M5’s high-revving V10 engine, the Alpina used a supercharged version of BMW’s V8, producing similar power – and with far more torque, performance was much more effortless. Compared to the frenetic M5, the B5 is a much rarer proposition in the UK, and is increasingly becoming recognised as a connoisseur’s choice as a result. In summary:Rare E60 BMW Alpina B5 offered at No ReserveThe connoisseur’s alternative to the E60 BMW M5Extensive history with plenty of paperwork
Registration - E24 UTEChassis No. - WBAEC820108188146M.O.T. - October 2025Odometer - 140,243With pickups becoming increasingly popular and a more common sight on our roads, ‘E24 UTE’ offers a superb antidote to the “me too” procession of workaday trucks. This genuine, one-of-one creation retains all the charm and allure of the 1988 BMW E24 635 CSi upon which it is based but with added…….utility. ‘E24 UTE’ has undergone a professional conversion in current ownership as well as a full underbody restoration. A new OEM fuel tank, drop links, bushes and suspension components have been fitted. The brakes have undergone a refurbishment as have the Alpina turbine style alloy wheels. In its current ownership for the last 13 years and with around 140,000 covered to date, ‘E24 UTE’ retains the silky M30B35 six cylinder engine and four-speed ZF 4HP22 automatic transmission of the 635 CSi. Complete with a lever arch file of accompany papers and offered with NO RESERVE.It will come as a surprise to many as to what a good pickup the BMW 635 CSi actually makes! Its long, sleek Paul Bracq design provides a surprisingly long load bed, more than sufficient for a big Fortnum & Mason’s hamper plus plenty more besides. The truncated cabin of ‘E24 UTE’ is standard 635CSi fare, by which we mean superbly fitted and finished. The black leather, deeply bolstered seats are finished in black leather and the signature, driver orientated VDO instruments are present and correct. Even an M-Sport, three spoke steering wheel and electric steel sunroof are present. The E24 635CSi upon which ‘E24 UTE’ (hopefully, the appeal of this personalised registration number should by now be apparent) was one of the true hero cars of the heady 1980’s “yuppy” era. It offered a thoughtful alternative to Porsche 911’s of the era and offered true, continent crossing credentials. Few then, surely, would have envisaged the existence of a wonderfully unique and expertly converted pickup example in 2024.In summary:· A truly unique and professional conversion to a show stopping pickup· Blending classic E24 attributes with a generous load bed· Complete with perfectly matched ‘E24 UTE’ personalised registration

Make & Model:BMW , 735i SE Date of Reg:D485GYV Colour:Brown cc:3430 Fuel Type:Petrol Mileage:110500 Transmission:automatic Summary:This BMW 735i (E32) SE Auto is now finished as an Alpina B11 3.5 tribute and was acquired in 2015 by the present owner and used by his father for four years. Over the last five years, the car has been used sparingly but serviced, maintained, MoT'd and dry-stored nevertheless. Recent expenditure includes new Bosch fuel injectors in 2020, while during 2022 the front suspension was refurbished using genuine BMW parts and all new brakes (front and rear), at a cost of £2300 (for which there is an invoice detailing the work). As the owner's father is now too elderly to fully enjoy the car, he wishes it to go to a new owner. The car was registered in March 1987 and has six registered keepers recorded by its V5C. Its mileage is circa 110,500, although the original instrument cluster malfunctioned in 2022 (a common fault) and was replaced by one from Lithuania on which the mileage is not visible. The last MoT expired in July 2024. Upgrades include a towbar fitted during 2015. The BMW will come with some spares including its four original wheels. Paperwork includes the V5C, book pack, stamped service book up to 66,000 miles by main dealer, old MoTs from 2010 to 2023 and recent invoices. There's also a set of spare keys. In 2015, the 735i was a Category C Insurance Loss: Vehicle Extensively Damaged But Repairable, Insurer Decided Not To Repair. This was due to a damaged nearside front wing and spoiler.

Registration No: B10 AXA Chassis No: WAPBA33L09FE45044 MOT: July 2025Build Number 44 of a reputed 112 B10 3.3 Saloon models worldwideRare and highly desirable manual gearbox exampleCurrent ownership for eleven years and just five former keepersSupplied with a history file including documented service historyThe Alpina B10 3.2, 3.3, V8 and V8S petrol-engined models were built in saloon and estate body styles based on the E39 from January 1997 to May 2004. The BMW Alpina B10 3.3 produced 276bhp @ 6,200bhp and 335Nm (247 lb ft) of torque @ 4,500rpm. Alpina only made 112 of the B10 3.3 saloon models worldwide, from a total E39 B10 production run of 472, split across six-cylinder and V8s, saloon and touring models. Alpina really threw everything at this model! Unlike the earlier 3.2 version (which used a 528i engine as a base), the 3.3 Alpina took the legendary S52B32 engine from the US-spec E36 M3 and then increased the stroke to up the capacity to 3.3 litres. It was then fitted with lightweight MAHLE pistons with a ported and polished cylinder head, with a new crankshaft with torsional vibration dampers and revised ECU software.Build number 44 of the 112 B10s produced, was manufactured in 1999 and was supplied new to the United Kingdom being first registered on the 1st March that year. Finished in Anthracite Grey paintwork with Montana Grey leather interior upholstery, the Alpina was specified with the rare and highly desirable manual gearbox, as well as electric rear windscreen blind and rear window privacy blinds, 19’ staggered alloys, Angel Eye, and LED lights, as well as having a tracking system. In current ownership since 2013, the Alpina has covered some 18,000 miles in this time and has just five former keepers. Offered with apt ‘B10’ registration number included, its original unused tool kit, glove box torch, medical kit, Schnitzer heated wing mirrors and a stainless steel exhaust, the B10 is rated by the vendor as ‘very good’ in regards to bodywork, paintwork, engine, gearbox, and electrical equipment, and as having ‘excellent’ interior trim. Offered with a history file that includes the original book pack including the stamped service book, as well as historic invoices and MOTs, a no advisory MOT until July next year, and a current V5C document. Registration - P719 JCHChassis No. - WAPB332T07ZE40062M.O.T. - May 2025Odometer - 104,000This 1997 Alpina B3 Touring is a car for real enthusiasts – this one particularly so, as it reputedly one of just five right-hand drive cars remaining. Resplendent in Alpina Blue, with the famous Alpina multi-spoke alloy wheels, it is a rare Touring model that the vendor has owned since May 2018; it has four former keepers. It really has had no expense spared since they purchased it, with expenditure of more than £7,000 in parts and £9,500 in garage bills. Work includes full brakes, suspension and steering renewal, a repair of any corrosion, and an interior refurbishment “to a high standard”. The interior is described as now being in “excellent” condition, to complement “good” bodywork and paintwork. The car also has refurbished alloys and two new rear tyres. The odometer reads 104,000 miles. ‘P719JCH’ has a full BMW service history up to 2018, and has been serviced since then according to the dashboard service lights. The vendor describes the 3,152cc straight-six engine, and automatic transmission, as being in “good” condition. The history includes “virtually all the receipts of work ever done over the past 20 years” plus a full list of all the parts that have been renewed. It also comes with all the original owner’s manuals and other related books – and a full spec sheet of when the car was new. Adding further reassurance, there are two ignition keys and a collection of lock and wheel nut keys – along with the jack, toolkit, spare wheel and tyre. It has an MOT valid until May 2025. The iconic Alpina B3 are high-performance cars produced by German specialist manufacturer Alpine, based on the BMW 3 Series. Registration - A597FALChassis No. - WBAAD720000510361M.O.T. - June 2025Odometer - 62,470 Opportunities like this come about incredibly rarely. A cherished, one-owner example of one of the 1980s best-handling sports-saloons, this BMW 323i Alpina has been carefully looked after by its sole owner during the course of its 40 years on the road. ‘A597 FAL’ was bought new from Sytner BMW of Nottingham, and is believed to be one of the only – perhaps the only – example of an Alpina-tuned four-door E30 3-Series left on UK roads. Presented in red with deep Alpina front splitter, side graphics, and black rear spoiler, the ensemble is completed with classic Alpina alloys. Powered by Alpina’s tuned version of the BMW 2,316cc petrol straight-six petrol engine and manual gearbox, ‘A597 FAL’ boasts optional extras such as a full cream leather interior, central locking, electric sunroof, green tinted glass, rear headrests and the original Blaupunkt Boston radio cassette player with electric aerial. The original features on this car are astounding, including Sytner dealership plates, two sets of keys, original book packs, and sales invoice; there’s even the business card of the vehicle’s salesman. ‘A697 FAL’ has always been kept garaged from new and is being offered for sale by the estate of its late owner, complete with a huge history file, including a full service history and MOTs supporting the displayed 62,470 mileage. The car’s paintwork, bodywork, interior, electrics, engine, and transmission are all described by the person acting on behalf of the late owner’s estate as ‘excellent’, and ‘A597 FAL’ is offered at no reserve, further adding to its appeal.Incredibly rare right-hand drive E30 AlpinaOne owner from newOffered at no reserveWith BMW’s introduction of the E30 3-Series saloon in 1982, Alpina - recognised by German authorities as a manufacturer in its own right in 1984 - took the second generation of BMW’s compact executive saloon and worked its magic once again. Released in 1984, the Alpina C1 uses a bored out 2.3-litre engine, creating more power, but crucially considering the company’s focus on touring, a torquier unit. At first sight, the Alpina is little more than a tweaked BMW 325i, but the devil is in the details, and Alpina’s care in building the engine and overall set-up are what transform the 3 Series. Fewer than 50 C1 2.3 models were built over the course of production, which lasted from 1984 until 1986, when it was replaced with the more powerful C1 2.5.Please Note: V5 states BMW 323i – Original Bill of Sale states Alpina BMW Sports as the model on the original Sytner Invoice. – Vendor to do own due diligence

It is the sacred writings of the divinely-inspired prophets of old and the apostles who shared in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ and preserved for us the wonderful lessons of His redemption, In this book will be found the guidance, the inspiration, the consolation and the hope that is ever man´s need in realizing his goal of everlasting salvation. This is the Bible´s meaning for me´; Dalton Trumbo (1905-1976) American screenwriter of Roman Holiday (1953) and other Hollywood movies, Academy Award winner. Trumbo was one of the Hollywood Ten and refused to testify before the House Un-American Activities Committee in 1947 during their investigation of alleged Communist influences in the motion picture industry. D.S., Dalton Trumbo, one page, 4to, n.p., 28th November 1958 (although presumably actually 1959). The document takes the form of a letter to Mr. I. H. Prinzmetal and states, in full, 'This is to confirm that Peter Flint is a nom de plume of mine and that I signed the agreement dated May 1, 1959 with Carlyle-Alpina, S.A., relating to the sale of a screenplay based upon the novel entitled ''The Other Side of the Coin'' by Pierre Boulle'. Two file holes to the upper edge. Together with a second D.S., Peter Flint, by Trumbo, using his nom-de-plume, four pages, folio, n.p., 1st May 1959. The typed document is a contract made between Flint [Trumbo] and Carlyle-Alpina S.A., stating that Flint is the sole author of the screenplay entitled The Other Side of the Coin, based upon a novel of the same name by Pierre Boulle, and that he agrees to transfer all the rights to the purchaser for the sum of $60,000, to be paid in six equal instalments, the first being 'upon the date hereof or upon the delivery to the Purchaser of the complete screenplay suitable in all respects for production as a first-class motion picture based upon the aforesaid novel The Other Side of the Coin'. Signed at the conclusion and countersigned by a representative of Carlyle-Alpina S.A. With two file holes to the head of the pages; Pierre Boulle (1912-1994) French novelist who is remembered for two works, The Bridge over the River Kwai (1952) and Planet of the Apes (1963), both of which were made into award winning films (for the former Boulle was also credited as the screenwriter, despite not even speaking English, as the two actual screenwriters had been blacklisted). T.L.S., Pierre Boulle, one page, 4to, Paris, 21st May 1962, to Wheel Productions Ltd. Boulle refers to the contract he made with his correspondents on 16th June 1958 in which he transferred the motion picture rights of his novel Les Voies du Salut ('The Other Side of the Coin') to them, and continues to agree to an amendment in one of the clauses, ´If principal photography of a motion picture based upon the Property has not commenced within six years from the date hereof, the Owner shall have the right to terminate this agreement by notice in writing.....´ . Countersigned at the foot by a representative of Wheel Productions Ltd. Two files to the upper edge. An interesting selection of letters and documents. Generally VG, 5Trumbo, one of the members of the Hollywood Ten (the first systematic Hollywood blacklist instituted on 25th November 1947, the day after ten writers and directors were cited for contempt of Congress for refusing to testify before the House Un-American Activities Committee), continued to work clandestinely on major films, writing under pseudonyms and with his work being uncredited. The Other Side of the Coin was due to have been made into a film under the direction of Otto Preminger, but the project was not completed, in part due to Trumbo's prior commitment to the writing of Spartacus (1960) for which (along with Exodus in the same year) he was given public screen credit, thereby marking the beginning of the end of the Hollywood blacklist for Trumbo and other affected screenwriters.

**Please note the car is not fitted with the dog ring gearbox but a CAE short shifter kit fitted by Pro Alfa. **A smart example of Abarth's ultimate FIAT 500 development, the 190bhp 695 Biposto optioned with the £8,500 'Dog Ring' gearbox. In recent years, Abarth has essentially become to FIAT what Alpina is to BMW; a high-performance 'skunkworks' division that takes something good and makes it great. Based on the cute and much-loved 500, the Abarth 500 came first, then the 595 Competizione and finally, at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, they launched the 695 Biposto. The Biposto designation comes from the Italian for 'two seats', indicating its focus on performance. The car has gained notoriety for its unique and engaging driving experience and one of its key features was the phenomenally expensive optional 'Dog Ring' gearbox, developed by Bacci Romano. The 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine was lifted straight from Abarth’s 695 Assetto Corsa race car, with a 10bhp power increase over the Abarth 500 and 595 to 190bhp and 184lb/ft of torque. Fitted with an Akrapovic dual-stage exhaust with twin titanium tailpipes, 0-60mph takes just 5.9 seconds on the way to 143mph, retardation is provided by high-performance Brembo brakes and stability is assisted by a mechanical self-locking diff.Visually, the Biposto has a distinctive look with a large rear spoiler, carbon front and rear diffusers, lightweight OZ 18" alloy wheels, a new front bumper, wider arches and new side-skirts. Buyers could have it in any colour they like, as long as it was Matte Performance Grey. The car is incredibly light, weighing in at 974kg dry with the interior being somewhat spartan, with a tiny hint of luxury. It features leather and Alcantara Sabelt Abarth Corsa racing bucket seats with 695 stitching, optional carbon shells, a titanium rear brace by Poggipolini and carbon fibre door panels. No radio or air conditioning with the focus on saving weight. This 2016 example presents incredibly well, arguably even better than new, due to its recently reupholstered interior and is thankfully fitted with the all-important Dog Ring gearbox. It has covered a mere 16,200 miles from new in the hands of its three owners and comes with a full-service history, with another service undertaken to prepare it for sale, along with a fresh MOT. The car is fully ceramic-coated with its callipers re-coloured to the Biposto 220 branding. It’s finished in the usual Matte Grey paintwork with Lime Green details and bronze wheels. The interior has been fabulously upgraded with tan leather seats, the gear shift surround, door cards and carpets and these features make this little pocket-rocket stand out for all the right reasons, as if the £8,500 gearbox wasn’t already enough of a standout feature.Having partaken in just two half-day track sessions, our vendor has shamelessly been bitten by the track day bug and with the Biposto’s bigger Italian brother having already arrived, it is time for the Abarth to find its next home.Presumably due to cost, only a small number ever left the factory with this amazing gearbox, making it a sought after collector's item. So seldom seen in the UK, with examples fetching comfortably north of £35,000 globally, this very attractively priced little Italian jewel could be a fun addition for any Collection or enthusiast.SpecificationMake: ABARTHModel: 695 BIPOSTOYear: 2016Chassis Number: ZFA3120000J375297Registration Number: AP16 ZYFTransmission: ManualEngine Number: 1960160Drive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 16200 MilesMake: RHDInterior Colour: Tan LeatherClick here for more details and images
