ALAN WALLWORK A group of five pieces by Alan Wallwork including; a small open topped crescent form with pierced holes, 16cm x 8.5cm, signed AW to base; a spherical form with outer crust glazed in ochres, greys and orange, with pierced inner form bursting through, 9.5cm diameter, signed AW to base; an ovoid bursting egg form built of two different clays, the outer form cracking to reveal the inner. This piece was stuck to the kiln shelf during firing and has consequently lost some of the original base. Sold with two extruded and altered vases, ash glazed c.1970s, incised W to base.
