1. A Tudor fit for a king
This Tudor watch is about 10 years old and is in great condition.
It is estimated at £1600-£2500 in Bertolami Fine Art's auction in London on February 16.

2. Roll out the barrel for this Cartier
The Tonneau (so named for its barrel shape) was the second ever wristwatch model created by Louis Cartier. The Tonneau launched in 1906, and this particular watch was originally sold by the French company's London store in October 1914.
In the 27 years since, it has been worn only twice, at two weddings. After sitting in a drawer and gathering dust for nearly 30 years, the watch is being sold at Fellows Auctioneers alongside a group of prestigious medals belonging to Thomson and Thomson's father.
The Cartier Tonneau watch carries an estimate of £6000-£8000 in Fellows' Luxury Watch sale on February 15.
3. Happy ending for this Omega
This Omega Seamaster dates from around 1965 and is already the subject of some busy pre-auction bidding.
The auctioneer's estimate is £300-£500 in a sale at Lockdales in Ipswich on February 17-18.
4. Time for a Rolex
This gentleman's 18ct yellow gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust wristwatch is estimated at £2200-£2500 in the Denham's auction in West Sussex on February 17-18.
5. Nine is just fine
Also at Denham's on February 17-18 are nine Seiko watches that form one lot in the sale.
Why are so many people browsing it? Seiko is a brand on the rise and now ranks among the 100 most search-for terms on thesaleroom.com. Collectors and fans of vintage watches are finding Seiko time pieces to be good value compared with pricier Swiss brands.
With an estimate of £30-£40, that's a lot of watches for your money.
6. Boxing clever with Audemars
This Audemars Piguet Royal Oak might need a bit of repairing to make it work again but it could prove to be an astute purchase.
It is estimated at £400-£500 at Philip Serrell in Malvern on February 18 but pre-auction bidding has already taken it past £2500, showing that buyers with a keen eye like what they see here.
7. A perpetual pleaser
This Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Submariner bracelet watch dates from around 2000 and is attracting plenty of admirers, with more than 50 of them having already added it to their Watchlist.
It is estimated at £10,000 to £15,000 at Fellows on February 15.
8. Tank top
The Cartier Tank is a popular make of watch. This example looks to be something of a restoration job – it's rather worn and needs repairing – but, with its estimate of £100-£200, it has already caught the eye of quite a few people browsing our site.

9. Rare Patek Philippe
One of the most expensive watches on offer on thesaleroom.com right now is this white gold Patek Philippe from 1994.
The reference 5020 watch was made in yellow gold, rose gold, platinum and white gold. The total production run of the white gold version was just 150, making it the rarest of the 5020s.
This one is estimated at £160,000-£200,000 in Bertolami Fine Art's auction in London on February 16.

10. Make it a Daytona to remember
But even that Patek Philippe is trumped by this beast when it comes to the auctioneer's estimate.
This Rolex Daytona 'Paul Newman' watch from around 1969 is guided at £180,000 to £250,000 at Bertolami Fine Art'on February 16.
