Andrew Dickie pocket watch
A surprise, perhaps, to find a pocket watch among the most viewed timepieces? Well, pocket watches are finding favour among buyers who want something different and who don't want their wrist clogged up by a heft piece of showy metal.
This 18th century pocket watch by Andrew Dickie is garnering plenty of attention online right now.
On the back is some embossed decoration featuring musicians. It is in the sale at Lawrences of Crewkerne on April 22.
Breitling
This nifty-looking Breitling Super Ocean has a yellow dial and comes with paperwork and its box. It is in the 14-16 April sale at Bearnes Hampton & Littlewood.
Cartier
The Cartier Santos brand began in 1904, giving it more than 100 years of history as one of the first pilot's watches ever created.
Its distinct square case and Roman numerals make it stand out from the crowd.
This Cartier Santos model is to be offered for sale at Dreweatts on April 13.
One for the ladies: in the same sale at Dreweatts is a chic and elegant lady's Cartier Santos.
The firm's own website describes the Pasha de Cartier as "an extroverted watch that sets itself apart from classic watchmaking with an assertive graphic signature". First launched in 1985 it has been recently overhauled with the lowest-priced new watches costing around £5000 via the Cartier website.
There were also few colour options on the Cartier website when we checked, making the stand-out colour of this Pasha de Cartier one and its strap - coming up for sale at Dreweatts on April 13 - all the more desirable.
Omega
This Omega Automatic Seamaster is in the sale at Bearnes Hampton & Littlewood.
This simple Omega is to be offered for sale at Lawrences of Crewkerne on April 22.
Rolex
This Rolex GMT Master II sports a 'Pepsi' bezel (the blue and red colours associated with the well-known drinks brand) and comes with its box and some papers. It is already attracting pre-auction bids and more than 130 users are following it, having added it to their Watch List.
It will be offered for sale at Bearnes Hampton & Littlewood as part of a three-day auction on April 14-16.
This Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date is in the same sale at Bearnes Hampton & Littlewood.
This lady's Rolex watch, also in the same sale, dates from about 1972 and is showing plenty of pre-auction bids.
This Rolex Oyster Quartz Datejust is from about 1989 and will be offered for sale at Lawrences of Crewkerne on April 22.
Seiko
At Denhams in Horsham, West Sussex, this lot appears in a two-day auction on April 21-22.
You will get a lot of Seiko for your money with this one, nine Seiko watches, in fact.
This is a watch brand very much on the up with collectors looking for affordable retro mechanical watches.
