Items from London’s five-star Westbury Hotel offered at auction

The Westbury Hotel in Bond Street, Mayfair first opened its doors in 1955 and among its well-known features is its cocktail bar The Polo Bar.

Now you have the chance to buy an object from this famous hotel. More than 5000 items are being auctioned next month by Pro Auction in London and you can bid and buy online for items such as lamps and chairs to beds and artworks.

Here is a handful of items that feature in the upcoming two auctions of The Westbury Hotel in Mayfair on June 7 and June 8-10 by Pro Auction.

1. Statement mirror

This Villiers Bros mirror is 3.5ft (110cm) across (above) and was previously in the lobby of the hotel. It has an estimate of £80.

2. Ice buckets

Silver plated ice buckets

A pair of silver-plated ice buckets with matching stand at 2.75ft (86cm) high are estimated at £50.
