Although the sale is online, viewings are possible by appointment.
This pair of bespoke Deco tub chairs were made for Claridge’s by David Linley (or David Armstrong Jones, 2nd Earl of Snowdon as he is known outside his business). Inspired by Art Deco furniture of the 1920s, this is a popular type for the Linley upholstery range, first introduced in 2001. Bidding starts at £800.
There are several lots of Claridge’s crested crockery on offer (this image is to give an idea of what’s on offer and is not the exact set on offer. With bidding opening at £40, the set contains plates of varying sizes, soup dishes, tea cups, a milk jug and an olive saucer.
Another imitation Art Deco piece from David Linley is this sideboard, for which bidding opens at £100.
This Diane Von Furstenberg suite prototype glass table will see bidding open at £100.
There are several artworks on offer during the sale. Among them is this original oil still-life by British artist Gerald Norden (1912-2000), which is offered signed and has an opening bid of £100.
