Does he have a taste for history? There’s a great selection of antique maps available at Keys Fine Art’s sale of Prints, Ephemera, Maps & Books on June 9. Plenty are very old or rare, but if you’re after something a little more affordable, there are also lots such as this map of Wiltshire, originally designed by John Speed, which has an estimate of £80-120. It includes a number of local arms and an illustration of Stonehenge.

This French 546 Austin Healey features a red interior with driver included and has an estimate of £100-150.

If you’re after some weird and wonderful ideas, check out Special Auction Services’ auction of the collection of Joan Dunk on June 9-10. Among other treasures is this late 19th century mahogany games compendium. All the classics are here: chess, draughts, dominoes and playing cards, plus two brass Perry & Co whist makers, some lead race horses and a miniature gavel. It has an estimate of £150-200.
