Five luxurious and splendid items to bid for and buy at auction

Sleek Scandi and modernist interiors are out; vintage and antique clutter is in.
The large 19th century Vienna porcelain dish depicting Bacchus and Ariadne seen at the back of this set has a reverse with underglaze blue beehive mark and inscribed 'L'Hymen de Bacchus et d'Ariadne'. It is numbered 800 and mounted on a purpose made, ebonised stand and estimated at £3000-5000.

Estimated at £1500-2000 is this pair of 18th century blue glazed ceramic qilin censers from the Qianlong Period.
Forget understated, think statement piece. This massive silver and enamel clock is catalogued with an attribution to Hermann Boehm of Vienna, c.1890. Made in the Renaissance Revival stule, the tower clock features and enamelled dome surmounted by a silver and enamelled figure of a knight and decorated with more knights, masks, classical scenes and columns. It has an estimate of £20,000-30,000.
As much a work of art as a table top, this 19th century Florentine pietre dure creation features numerous specimen marbles including Rouge Griotte, Verde Antico, Carrara, Siena, together with mother of pearl inlay, on a black ground within a border, depicting scrolling foliage, flowers, birds and butterflies, within a later black and grey veined outer border. It has an estimate of £8000-12,000.
This 19th century suzani embroidered wall hanging has hanging loops to one end and is offered with an estimate of £800-1200.
