Bonhams to run live auctions on thesaleroom.com
15 October 2019 One of the world's leading auction houses Bonhams will list and offer live bidding on thesaleroom.com website for the first time.In a move to increase its digital presence and reach new bidders, Bonhams has agreed a long- term partnership with Auction Technology Group, owner of online auction marketplace thesaleroom.com. The majority of its UK and international sales will now be hosted on the platform.
The initial set of auctions to be listed are Bonhams’ Islamic and Indian Art and Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art sales, which are being held on October 22 and 23 respectively at its New Bond Street headquarters.
After this launch, Bonhams will then offer live bidding on the majority of its sales in London, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Hong Kong.

Bonhams will also list its sales on other sites which include Auction Technology Group’s lot-tissimo.com.
