Victor Mee Auctions’ Iconic Dublin Nightlife Sale will offer interested bidders the chance to own interior pieces including lighting, bar fixtures and chairs and sofas from some of the city’s best-known memorable hospitality spots including the Trinity Hotel, The George Nightclub and Howl at the Moon, among many others.
The sale will take place online only, the items are off-site, the viewing and collection address is Tallbridge road, Cranagill, Co. Armagh BT62 1SF, Northern Ireland. Collection will be in accordance with government restrictions and will be by appointment only. Delivery and in house packing will still be available at an additional cost.

Terms & Conditions
CONDITIONS OF SALE
- No reference is made as to the condition of any item in the catalogue, but this does not imply that it is free of faults or restoration. Interested parties are deemed to have viewed the item{s} which they intend to bid for and to have fully satisfied themselves as to the condition of the same. By making a bid, the buyer acknowledges that he has satisfied himself as to the physical condition, age and catalogue description of each lot (including but not restricted to whether the lot is damaged or has been repaired or restored).Condition reports may be supplied by the Auctioneer on request in written or verbal form, but these are merely statements of opinion by the Auctioneer, and any error or omission in these reports may not be taken as grounds for a cancellation of sale or refund of any part of the purchase price or the cost of any repairs to the lot or lots reported on. All requests for condition reports must be sent 24hours before the 1st day of the auction to ensure they are seen and dealt with.
- The highest bidder shall be the purchaser, & any dispute arising either before, during or after the sale, shall be determined by the Auctioneer. The auctioneer reserves the rights to bid on behalf of clients including vendors, but shall not be liable for errors or omissions in executing instructions to bid.
- The Auctioneer may refuse to take any bid without giving any reason.
- Purchasers shall give their bidding number after the sale of each lot, and shall arrange for the removal of same at their own expense, of the lots so purchased on the delivery day stated, without causing damage to either the premises or other lots. Any lots not so removed may be re – sold by the Auctioneer, and any deposits forfeited. No items may be removed from sale without a paid invoice.
- Lots bought by auction must be collected within 7 days. After the expiry of this period, a storage fee of € 5 per item per day will be charged. Storage charges must be paid the items can be released.
- The goods remain on the premises at the purchaser’s risk from the fall of the hammer.
- The purchase money together with 19% Auctioneer’s fees and Vat @ 21% on the fees shall be payable immediately after the auction. No lots will be delivered to the purchaser until he/she has made payment in full. Payments may be made in cash, Credit transfer, Debit / Credit Card or guaranteed cheques, No third party cheques
- A Cash Origin Form must be filled in by the Purchaser for all cash payments exceeding € 500.00.
- Should a purchaser fail to comply with these conditions, he/she may forfeit the deposit & the Auctioneer may re – sell the lot or lots as he deems fit. Any deficiency in the price at the second sale shall be made good by the first purchaser but any surplus shall belong to the vendor.
- Victor Mee Auctions Ltd do not accept responsibility for lots damaged by changes in atmospheric conditions nor shall Victor Mee Auctions Ltd be liable for any damage to glass or picture frames
- Default, Victor Mee Auctions Ltd Disclaims responsibility for default by either the purchaser or the vendor because he acts as the agent for the vendor only & therefore does not pay out to the vendor until payment is received from the purchaser.
- All prospective buyers by making a bid for any of the lots advertised in the catalogue acknowledge that their attention has been drawn to these conditions of sale & that they are bound by them. Any offer made through our website, by telephone or on line is considered as a bid, and is therefore will be taken as full agreement to all the above conditions and binding if a winning bid.
- The Auctioneer or his employees may, on request order on the buyer's behalf third parties to ship purchases. Under no circumstances does the Auctioneer accept any liability whatsoever for any loss or damage howsoever occasioned in the course of such a service.
Online Bidding
Victor Mee Auctions offer an online bidding service via the-saleroom.com for bidders who cannot attend the sale.
In completing the bidder registration on www.the-saleroom.com and providing your credit card details and unless alternative arrangements are agreed with Victor Mee Auctions :
- confirm that you are authorised to provide these card details to Victor Mee Auctions through www.the-saleroom.com and agree that Victor Mee Auctions are entitled to ship the goods to the card holder name and card holder address provided in fulfilment of the sale.
Please note that any lots purchased via the-saleroom.com live auction service will be subject to an additional 4.95% commission charge at the rate imposed on the hammer price
