An English Delftware Flower Brick, mid 18th century, painted in inky rich blue with a bird on a rock framed by scrolling oriental flowers, each end with further flowers and an insect, the top pierced with twenty-one holes (3x7) picked out with an asterisked chequer design, recessed foot, 14.2cm long (chip to inner rim and to base of one side).
