A Pair of English Delftware Flower Bricks, mid 18th century, each long side painted in thick cobalt blue with a solitary figure in a boat before a townscape of high gabled buildings and towers, the ends with an insect hovering over single flower blooms, each blue-flooded top pierced with twenty-six holes about a central larger hole, 16cm long (one brick with slightly intrusive flaking on edges and corners) (2).
