Description
A pair of scarce white metal novelty Post Box salt and pepper casters - early 20th century, in the form of cylindrical Post or Letter Boxes, the star-pierced, pull-off covers with 'Letter Box' thumbpieces, the bodies with 'Next Clearance 9AM' lettering to the door, unmarked, 5.2cm high, weight 110.5g, one with some salt corrosion to the surface of the metal.
