**Laurence McGowan (British, b.1942): a large stoneware studio pottery jug - in a one-off, commissioned design, of baluster form with C-scroll handle with raised thumbpiece, painted in shades of blue with a band of landscape decoration depicting a village nestled in rolling hills, on an off-white ground, inscribed above and below 'Sue Guinness' and 'AET.L Thursday 16th October 1986', painted potters marks to base, 30cm high. **(Subject to ARR)
