Description
A Chinese slip decorated crackle glazed cup - underglaze blue Chenghua four character marks (1465-87) but later, probably late Qing dynasty, of ovoid cup form with a cream crackle glaze, one side slip decorated in white with branches of prunus, 7cm high.
* One tiny frit to the footrim. The crackle glaze varies considerably in density and tone, with some areas to the inside and exterior showing much darker crackle lining. Small burst bubble glaze flaw to the rim. No other faults.
