The film came out in 1961, and the main poster for its initial release showed Paul Newman and Piper Laurie embracing. When the film was re-released in 1964 a new poster was designed, which truly reflected the film. This is the more desirable and collected poster on the film.. . This classic 1960s pool hustling film was directed by Robert Rosse, and stars Paul Newman as 'Fast' Eddie and Jackie Gleason as Minnesota Fats, together with Piper Laurie as Sarah.. . Excellent condition, colours remaining very bright, very minor restoration to folds.. . Material of piece: Paper, backed on linen. . LITERATURE:. .
