Printing 3, June/early August 1896 - ½a. to 2½a. inclusive
The "Zanibar" error was removed and a corrected printing of the low values was probably produced soon afterwards, of which the plating corresponded with columns 1 to 6 of the 6a. setting. The printing impression was stronger and clearer than previously


2a. blue surcharged "2½" in red at the latest by 15 August, a half pane of sixty (6x10) from the top half of the sheet with parts of margin at foot, fine with large part original gum. One of five panes of Setting 3 recorded. See plating chart in Figure 8. S.G. 26-28. Photo
