Please note that the Brusden White "catalogue prices for pre-1928 booklets are for booklet covers in good condition, containing any quantity of the relevant stamps."
1904-12 Booklets containing Australian States Stamps
1911 2/- (12 x ½d., 18 x 1d.)
The Commonwealth Stamp Printer held made-up stocks of the old 2/- booklets containing 11 ½d. stamps, and to utilize these he replaced the covers with the new-style covers, and added an additional stamp by affixing this by gummed strips to the existing pane within the booklets
Red on pink cover, purple on blue inside, original setting of text on back cover, incomplete containing Victoria Crown over A ½d. block of eleven and 1d. block of five; cover a fraction soiled and some staining around staple. BW B6(V)A, $6000 for incomplete. Photo
