1863 (20 May) Petition for Alimony between David and Margaret Charlotte Jones bearing 1858 2/6d. lilac (2) each tied by blue "cancelled" in barred oval, central filing fold and slight ageing to paper, not detracting from this excessively rare usage; at the time divorce proceedings were most unusual- only 134 divorces were granted in the whole of Great Britain in 1863.
