Austria, Charles VI (1711-40)2 Taler ND (1711-40), Hall mint, silver, ref. KM1523, Dav-1049. Obv. laureate armored bust right, rev. crowned imperial double-headed eagle with coat of arms on breast. This large silver double Taler is the second finest known in the PCGS Census. Definitively a grand example of how Austrian engravers mastered their art and technics to feature so much entricated fine details on a coin. Very well preserved surfaces showcasing a strong and even strike. This classic rarity is further enhanced by a beautiful grayish original mint patina.
