A Chinese Export brass mounted solid hongmu and hardwood bureau, third quarter 18th century
with boldly-cast brass South Chinese handles, the writing slope on lopers enclosing a fitted interior, the small drawers of which feature painted Chinese characters to the underside, with a panel back with a red wash, with four graduated drawers, the bracket feet concealing castors
102.5cm. high, 112cm. wide, 56.5cm. deep; 2ft. 4½in., 3ft. 8in., 1ft. 10¼in.
