A English porcelain Imari pattern part dinner service, circa 1810, probably Coalport
each piece painted in underglaze-blue and bright enamels with flowering plants, heightened in gilding, the tureens with gilt recumbent lion finials and lion mask handles, comprising:
two circular two-handled soup tureens and covers,
four vegetable dishes and two covers,
four two-handled sauce tureens and covers,
a deep square salad bowl,
two large oval meat platters,
twelve oval serving dishes, in five sizes,
forty-six dinner plates,
fourteen soup-plates,
one side plate
the soup tureen: 35.5cm.; 14in. wide across handles
This lot will be on view in our New Bond Street galleries on 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 15th, 16th and 17th January 2024.
