the three bevelled plates within a white-painted bead-and-reel and foliate-carved border

52.5cm. high, 149.5cm. wide; 1ft. 8¾in., 4ft. 10½in.

Dudley North (1684–1730);

Thence by descent:

Until sold with Glemham Hall in 1923 to Captain John Murray Cobbold (1897–1944) and his wife Lady Blanche (1897-1988);

Thence by descent.

Between 1712-1722 Dudley North carried out alterations at Glemham, so it is possible this mirror was acquired during this period.
