A Mennecy Oval Snuff Box, with Silver-Mount, Circa 1760-70
basketwork molded, reserved on the cover with a large puce and blue flower-head in low relief, the underside diamond-shaped cartouche on the base enclosing a painted flower spray, painted with scattered flower sprigs overall, the interior of the cover with a large flower spray, the 18th century silver-mount with indistinct discharge mark, probably for Rome.
