Lady Catherine Windsor (née Archer), was the daughter of Thomas Archer, 1st Baron Archer (1695–1768), and wife of other Lewis Windsor, 4th Earl of Plymouth (1731–1771).
We are grateful to Dr Brian Allen for endorsing the attribution to Ramsay and his studio based on first-hand inspection.
