A Chelsea 'pine-cone' moulded two-handled cup and saucer Gold Anchor Period, circa 1760-65 each piece moulded with overlapping scales in pink, blue and gilding beneath exotic birds perched amongst leafy berried branches, gilt dentil rims, the cup with entwined scroll handles heightened with gilding painted gold anchors height of cup 8.2cm., 3Din. minor wear to gilding, probably lacking cover (2) A similarly decorated jug and cover is illustrated by E.Adams, Chelsea Porcelain, p.151 pl.121.
