Henry C. Andrews Geraniums: or, a monograph of the genus geranium London: R. Taylor, 1805 FIRST EDITION, 4to (310 x 235mm.), 40 hand-coloured engraved plates (of 124, see note), a few folding, later cloth, original wrappers bound in at end, edges uncut Stafleu notes that “complete copies are rare”; most copies seen at auction seem to have up to 75 plates, compared to the present copy’s 40. Provenance:  Henry Rogers Broughton, 2nd Baron Fairhaven (1900-1973), with his ex libris; Sotheby's, 'Travel, Atlases, Maps, Photographs & Natural History', 21st September 2023, lot 28  Literature: Great Flower Books, p. 47; Nissen BBI 32; Stafleu TL2 138
