Acid-etched glass.
Procedure: Private Collection, Spain between 1970-1990.
Measurements: 42 cm diameter.
Verlys glass was produced in Rouen by the Sociéte Holophane Français, a company founded in 1920. Later, in 1935, production was transferred to the United States, specifically to Newark (Ohio). During the French period, the pieces were mould-marked, while the American pieces were engraved. Verlys produced blown and moulded glass pieces, often decorated with delicate cold carving work, following tripartite compositions.
